Magdalena Valderrama

Magdalena Valderrama is the Operations Director for NapaLearns and serves as Board Secretary. She has set up and provided project and administrative management systems and procedures for nonprofits based in Napa County, including Wingspan Partnerships, the Napa Valley Conference and Visitors Bureau (now the Napa Valley Destination Council), and the Napa Valley Economic Development Council. Valderrama has led and taken part in several comprehensive community change efforts, focusing on community decision-making processes, shared understanding of group dynamics, cultural diversity and process facilitation. As a writer and former teacher, she also drafted the first American Field Service (AFS) handbook detailing a comprehensive program of orientation exercises for foreign exchange students and their families and has been a freelance writer and radio guest on health, childrearing and parenting topics in the San Francisco Bay Area.
