Welcome to the website of NapaLearns: The Napa Valley Partnership for 21st Century Education!
NapaLearns is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to working with partners in education and the community to re-imagine learning for all children in Napa County. Ours is a valley-wide, multi-district approach to broadly promote implementation of education innovation for the benefit of all students.
The SC21 Initiative, in 2008-2011, has been the first example of the education partnering and vision leadership that we seek to promote and support. If you are convinced that public education must be part of the shape we give to our ever-changing world, then NapaLearns gives you a way to make that dream a reality.
“We owe this to our kids,” says former chairman and CEO of America Online, Barry Schuler, of his contribution to the initiative. “We could be a generation who is handing off a world that is worse than the one we inherited if we don’t catch up on fronts like this. … We want to have a vibrant workforce to support the community, and we owe it to our children for them to have 21st-century learning tools.”
